Every year, a friend of mine sponsors a holiday pajama and book drive. She collects new pajamas and books for kids from infant to eighteen years old. The items then get donated to a local organization and distributed to kids in need. I think it’s awesome that she has done this for several years.

As a YA author, I can’t help but target my donation towards teenagers. I’m glad that I did, too, because it turns out they were the age group in greatest need for the local chapter. Pictured below is what I bought for this year. I hope that it brightens a kid’s day.
